Details
Date Masamune (1567-1636) was a powerful daimyo in the Tohoku region of Japan. An outstanding tactician, he was made all the more iconic for his missing eye, for which he was often called "dokuganryû," or the one-eyed dragon. Designed after the helm of the great Daimyo himself, it is equipped with leather inserts allowing it to be worn. Custom designed wooden display stand is included. This Japanese helm is superbly constructed, beautifully detailed and a great value.
