The Regimental Dirk, with its companion knife and fork set, was worn from the mid-1800's century onwards. The grips are of painted wood, carved in the customary basket-weave pattern and surmounted by the traditional amethyst “cairngorm”. The 11-1/2” blades are fileworked in the popular scalloped pattern. A suspension loop is provided on the scabbard.
